For the third year in a row I am releasing a new Excel Bowling Scores Spreadsheet. This spreadsheet keeps track of games for a five person or less team. Features include tracking of handicap, average, strikes, spares, opens and gambling money.
New Features for v3.0
Adds week number and date to spreadsheet - controlled by P1 sheet data
Adds support for tracking strikes, spares and opens by game
Adds fields for bracket/other gambling net profits/losses
Adds graph for average tracking on each player
Fixes handicap issue of negative handicaps when average is above handicap
I was shown this via an e-mail forward and had to share it for the holidays. A wonderful A Cappella. Straight No Chaser is an Indiana University A Cappella group. Below is their interpretation of the Twelve Days of Christmas.
I'm back in Jacksonville after the FHSAA State Championships in Orlando. Both the local teams, Nease and St. Augustine lost in Orlando but Jonathan and I had a good time down there.
Below you'll find links to our videos produced down there.
Well most of this you won't care about since it is mostly backend but figured I'd let you know anyways. I made an update to my gallery system that now allows me to upload files much faster and read the actual caption and photographer information from the photos. Eventually I'll probably expand that to show the aperture, shutter speed and ISO for each shot as well.
On the public side of things you may notice when browsing the photos using the "next/previous" links at the top the page will always stay in the same place so you don't have to move your mouse to hit next on each photo as long as you don't scroll around the page.
I also added photos from the Good Guys Car Show way back in April of this year. I never had loaded them prior because I didn't want to take the time but with this new uploading it was quick and easy.
And so that you can more easily keep up with the most updated photo galleries you could always subscribe to my RSS Feed of photos. If you are browsing the site though I have now highlighted which categories have been updated in the past two months when viewing the main page of the gallery. Photos will always add to the end of each album but you can at least know which ones have new photos now.
Just in case you were really wondering about it or trying (Not like you would since I really haven't added any new galleries) but the comments in my photo gallery are now working again. Apparently in a mySQL upgrade something got messed up with my query. Its all better now.
I have updated the Bowling Scores Excel Spreadsheet for the 2007 season. As you may remember I released this last season and have since added some new features including Average by lanes, high score by lanes, strike, spare and opens percentage as well as other individual statistics.
So our area of town Fruit Cove has had some crazy flooding the last day. I've never seen it like this including hurricanes we have had. We had 14-16" of rain in one day causing just tons of flooding. The two photos below are from the backyard. The pool actually overflowed into the backyard causing a new pool to form.
Also the local news station has tons of good photos on their website. Towards the 50's are some really good photos of our particular area of town. More flooding photos from News4Jax.com
I really like creative commercials and I must say this one definitely caught me off guard. I was expecting your standard commercial and got this. Kate Walsh in this Cadillac commercial. All that was well and good but the last line totally took me off guard. Genius idea by Cadillac.
So I finally figured out why Excel kept screwing up on me when printing multiple sheets into a PDF. Apparently every sheet has to have the exact same page set-up (fit to 1x1 or scale and resolution) across every sheet you want to print. Otherwise it will print each set of sheets that has a different setting in a different process. So since I did that I uploaded all the bowling scores here so they are easily accessible for those who want to see them.
If you want to keep track of scores yourself contact me and let me know and I'll send you the template. I have changed it quite a bit since I released version one last year.
I've gotten the first batch of wedding photos edited from Dan and Rachel's wedding and posted them to the gallery. I also am going to post them into a web album that I will link to here so that friends and family may purchase copies as well as shown below. The rehearsal dinner photos should be up once I get them.
And to purchase I'm going to use Flickr. It was either that or Picasa Web Albums and even though I love Google's services and would use them anytime over Yahoo Flickr lets you purchase photos and pick up at any Target and that convenience is great so Flickr wins this time. A note to Google: Allow your photos to be printed at a national store maybe Target, Walgreens, CVS or even Wal-Mart?
